Practice Manager


MalloryMallory has been an employee of Clark Animal Care since April 1994, and had actually worked for a couple years as a receptionist with Dr. Stillman Clark in the late 1980′s at the “old place”.   Mallory’s duties include managing the receptionists, doing the end of day “paperwork”, accounts payable and receivable, sending reminders to clients, acting as a liaison between the doctors and the staff, and lots of other things that keep the practice running smoothly.  She is a member of Veterinary Hospital Managers Association.

Mallory has been married to Tim, her closest friend, for over 14 years.  She has 3 children of her own (Allison, Evan, and Owen) and 3 step-children (Sharon, Stephanie, and Keith), and is a “step-grandma” to Ryan, Brenna and Natalie.  She has 2 striped kitty cats:  Rugby and Truman, one a brown tiger, one a grey tiger.  When not at work, Mallory enjoys being with her family in the outdoors; camping, hiking, kayaking, biking, geocaching, and fishing.

Technicians and Assistants

Carrie, Licensed  Veterinary Technician, Technician manager

CarrieCarrie came to Clark’s after having received an associates degree in Veterinary Technology, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Medaille College.  Carrie has been an employee here since November 1997.  She is responsible for many aspects of your pet’s care while they are here at the hospital or visiting us with you.  She truly enjoys the interaction with clients and their pets.  She feels good about working at a hospital that practices excellent medicine and promotes the human/animal bond.  Carrie is a member of the Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians.

Carrie has been married since 2004 and has many “furry” family members.  They are Hejduk- chocolate lab, Bruce- weimaraner mix, Elanor- miniature dachsund, and Earl-siamese.  In her time away from Clark, she likes to do agility training with Bruce and dog obedience work.

Deb, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Deb has been a licensed New York State Veterinary Technician since 1984.  For most of these years, Deb had been concentrated in feline practice.  She became a team member of Clark Animal Care in 2003, after having brought her pets here for veterinary care for 28 years!!  She enjoys life with her husband, Andy, and their family of 3 dogs, 4 cats, a rabbit, and a dwarf hamster.

Sue, Licensed Veterinary Technician

SueSue has been a technician at CACC since 1988.  Her favorite part of working here is the cats and she enjoys the constant “surprises” even after all these years!  She has been married to Dave for over 25 years and they have 2 great children, Terra Kate and Trevor.  Her pets include four cats; Ahmadude, Audrey, Amanda, and Amie – “all A’s because cats are practically perfect in every way”, five chickens (but only eats their eggs), 1 pony, 2 horses, and 3 rats.  She enjoys singing with the worship team at her church, quilting, drawing, kayaking, crosscountry skiing and trail riding.

Sue says “It is a privilege to work at CACC – the quality of care given the animals, the concern for clients, pets and co-workers, and the general atmosphere of the place make it the best place to be (other than home, of course).”

Jennifer, Licensed Veterinary Technician

JenniferJennifer has been working as a veterinary technician at Clark Animal Care since 1998.  She has been a licensed tech for the last 20 years, having graduated from Canton Agriculture/Technical College in 1986.  Her position here is an “animal nurse” where she monitors anesthesia, runs lab work, does radiology, performs client education, prepares for surgical procedures, monitors patients that need intensive care, and all the other basic animal nursing duties.  What she likes best about the position is the interaction with clients and educating them about their pets, and of course, she enjoys working with the animals.  Jennifer must like it here, as she drives 50 miles to get to work!

Jennifer grew up in Pulaski, New York.  Her mom was a home economics teacher, her dad a well driller.  She has an older brother and 7 nieces and nephews, and 2 god daughters.  Her 4 footed family consists of 2 cats (Harley and Howitzer), a rescue dog (Lady Hannah) and a bunny (Harry).  She has many more pets that are still cherished in her heart.

Outside of enjoying animals, Jennifer pursues various outdoor activities – skiing (downhill and cross-country), kayaking, and camping.  She also likes to read, do crafts, and spend time with her husband and family.  She is also an active member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution).

Heather, Licensed Veterinary Technician

HeatherHeather started as a veterinary assistant here at Clark Animal Care in 2004.  In 2008, Heather graduated from Alfred State College with her Veterinary Technician license and started her technician career immediately.  She loves paying attention to each pet that comes in, and sees that they are comfortable and at ease while in our care.  Living with her at home are her pets, Wrangler (a dog), Diego (a cat), McLovin (a snake) and she has fresh and saltwater fish tanks.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with her mom, going out with her friends, and shopping.

Josette, Licensed Veterinary Technician

JosetteJosette is another technician at Clark Animal Care.  She is a 2009 graduate of the Veterinary Technician program at SUNY-Delhi.  Josette has a menagerie of pets:  3 cats - Stormy, Gus, and Luna, a rat terrier – Remington, a horse – Dakota, and a guinea pig – Squirt.  Josette enjoys working with the staff at CACC and helping and interacting with our clients.  She enjoys performing dentals and assisting in surgeries.  While not at work, Josette spends her time horse back riding!

Amanda, Licensed Veterinary Technician

AmandaAmanda started at Clark in August 2010.  As a technician, she loves working in the lab.  Analyzing samples is one of her favorite tasks.  She also loves performing dentistries.  What Amanda enjoys about her job is being able to help and make animals happy and comfortable.  Watching an animal that had come in to CACC sick, then leave happy and healthy always makes her day.  At home, she has 1 cat, Zip, and 2 dogs, Lola (mix) and Blue (husky/St. Bernard mix).  In Amanda’s spare time she enjoys drawing and painting, doing mind puzzles, and completing Sudoku puzzles.

Laura, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Laura is one of the newer technicians.  She enjoys working with animals and being able to help them.  Laura has worked at Lollipop since she was 14 years old.  She helped with the farm, clinics, and camps and anything else you can think of while there.  Laura has 5 animals of her own; a husky/sheltie mix named Mindy, 3 cats named Pete, Max, and Elizabeth, and a very special ferret named Wayne.  Outside of her animals, her interests include history and shopping.


Kelli, Receptionist Manager and Inventory Manager

KelliKelli is the Receptionist and Inventory Manager.  She has worked here since 1993, when she first started as a kennel attendant.  She has been married to her best friend, Fred for many years.  They have 2 children, Kaycee and Leo. They have 5 perfect felines; Blueberry, Buddy, Junior, Cookie, Gaia and also a huge dog named Luca. She loves spending time with her husband running and exercising.  Their greatest achievement together (next to their two children) is finishing the Ironman Lake Placid in 2005.  As a family they love to geocache in the local parks, watch movies and just have fun together.


MasonTina has been stationed at the front desk of CACC since November 2004.  You will find her answering the telephone, scheduling appointments and greeting clients and their pets as they come in to visit.  What she likes about her position here is the interaction with the clients and their pets and also working alongside the great staff.  Included in her family are her husband Kevin, son Mike, her two boxers, Mason and Luna, and a cat, Chase.  In her spare time she enjoys gardening, reading, and watching her son play ice hockey.


Cheryl is one of our receptionists.  She has 2 dogs; Maggie (a lab mix) and Speck (a miniature schnauzer – “the old man of the house”).  She also has a mouse with no name!  In addition to her 4 legged family, Cheryl and her husband, Mike, have 3 sons.


Kaycee is a recent addition to the Clark Animal Care family.  She is working this summer as a receptionist to help in the front area by filling in some open shifts.  Kaycee lives at home with her parents, her younger brother, 5 cats and a dog.  She is currently a student at the University at Buffalo, studying biomedical sciences.  Who knows, she may end up back here in 8 years or so as a veterinarian!!


Alicia is a new receptionist at Clark Animal Care.  She has 2 terrific kids: Emelia and Ethan that make her laugh all the time.  In addition to her children she has a spazzy, but loveable, Siamese cat named Delilah, along with an occasional goldfish, frog, cricket, etc.  In her spare ”quiet” time, Alicia likes to read and do crosswords.


Tiffany was born and raised in Pittsford, NY and went to Michigan State University.  After graduation she moved back home.  Tiffany has 2 pets: a mixed breed dog named “Riley” and a black cat named “Sparty”.  Tiffany enjoys cooking!  She is planning on becoming a Veterinarian Technician in the future.

Kennel Staff

Patrick, Kennel Manager

PatrickPatrick has been working at Clark Animal Care since January of 1998, and is our hospital’s resident “Dog Whisperer”.  Patrick has a bachelor degree in biology from the University of Miami (Florida), and has been around animals his whole life.  He is often called upon for our large and sensitive pets and is very empathetic with all animals.

Patrick comes from a large family and has 2 sisters, a brother, and has over 20 cousins in his extended family that he sees whenever he can.  He has 2 nieces and 2 nephews.  Patrick got married in October of 2004, and has 3 dogs and a cat.  While the most important things in Patrick’s life are his family and friends (including the animals he has and those that come to Clark’s), his hobbies include playing Xbox, playing games of all kinds, and most sports.  He plays ice hockey in an adult league.


DavidDavid started as a kennel attendant in May 2006.  He is one of the ones that helps keep your pet happy and well nourished while they are vacationing here and also helps keeps the entire hospital clean.  He enjoys working at CACC because of his talented co-workers and thoroughly enjoys working (and playing) with your pets.  He keeps them from missing you too much!  Dave’s current family at home consists of an aquarium and has in the past had several dogs and cats.  Outside of working here, Dave likes soccer, golf, and does some landscaping.  You may even find him taking care of some of the flowers here.


Jordan has been a kennel attendant since April 2007.  She helps care for the animals that are boarding in the kennel, helps safely restrain animals for the doctors and technicians, and helps keep our beautiful hospital clean.  While here she enjoys being around your pets and creating bonds with them.  She learns new “stuff” everyday that interests her.  Her coworkers make her laugh!  Jordan comes from a family of 6.  She has 2 sisters, Meredith and Samantha, and a brother, Clayton.  Jordan is the oldest.  She has 2 dogs; a golden retriever named Murphy and a papillion named Louie.  She also has a cat, Maney.  When not at CACC, Jordan enjoys reading, camping, and any outdoor activities.  In the fall of 2010, Jordan will be going back to college for veterinary technology and to earn a Bachelors Degree in animal science at Canton.


William started as a kennel attendant in July 2010, after observing the doctors and staff here as a high school student for a few months.  He enjoys taking care of the animals and hopes that his experiences here will prepare him for veterinary school some day.  His pets include 4 cats.  When not at work, William enjoys ultimate frisbee and movies.



Polly has been the groomer here since September 1995.  She grooms both dogs and cats.  She has 1 dog of her own, Thunder.
