This Kitty Needs a Forever Home!

This is Jade.  We call him Jade, or Jadie Cat, because of his gorgeous green eyes.  He is a stray that has been coming to our house for over 6 months now.  He has no home, but we believe he was an indoor kitty at one time and estimate his age around 3 or 4 years.  He is one of the sweetest cats we’ve ever had come to visit with us.  He wants love, more then he even wants to eat.  He rubs hard against us for affection, and is quite the talker!  He cries pretty loud and is very vocal when he wants us to know he is at our back sliding glass door.  We believe he is already neutered, but we are having everything taken care of, neutering, shots, deworming etc.  We can not take him in though, as we already have many animals of our own, with some health issues, and we just cannot afford to properly care for him.  He is in need of a forever home, ASAP!  He gets along fine with dogs…our dog.  He even follows us around when we walk our dog.  But we are hoping he ends up with an indoor only home, as this poor guy needs to be loved and cared for, and never again has to beg for food or care.  If you are interested, please give me a call.  (585) 233-7231, and ask for Robin.

Another option to find a pet is through the Rochester Animal Services.  Rochester Animal Services (RAS) is a municipal animal care and control agency that is dedicated to improving the quality of life and safety for city residents and their animals, the promotion of responsible pet ownership, and the reduction of animal overpopulation to reduce animal suffering and euthanasia. RAS enforces all New York State and City of Rochester ordinances pertaining to animal control. They operate an animal shelter for stray, injured, and disowned animals that serves both as an adoption center and as a site for locating lost pets. They strive to provide the best possible care for every animal in our charge.  Click here for an up-to-date list of pets that need your love and care.
